PRODUCTION MANAGER p/t
Capital Stage, Sacramento's bold, intimate, professional live theatre is currently seeking a part-time production manager to add to our staff. The production manager will work closely with the artistic director, designers, and technical staff/crew to supervise key production and technical areas of the theatre.  
 
Example of responsibilities include:

• management of production budgets
• planning and revising of production calendar
• hiring and supervision of production staff including designers, stage managers and technical personnel
• scheduling and facilitating production meetings including setting agendas and publishing notes for personnel
• overseeing construction, load-in, and strike of production-related scenery, costumes, lighting and sound 
• manage maintenance, care, acquisitions, rentals and loans of production-related equipment and assets 

Qualified individuals will have experience in one or more theatre arts production areas (set building, costuming, props, performing, directing, stage management, etc) and be available to work 20-30 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
